Sandra McCurdy Holmes, "Sandy", 75, of Riverview passed away November 24 th , 2022, in her home, surrounded by overwhelming love. She was born March 31 st , 1947, in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Robinson High School and worked as a park director for Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, O.R. McCurdy and Justine McCurdy (Prince).

She is survived by her brother, Gordon McCurdy, daughters Jennifer Holmes and Amy Vaughn, grandchildren, Taylor Hackenberg, Mackenzie Vaughn and Joshua Vaughn, great grandchildren, Kyler Hackenberg and Sadie Hackenberg. Sandra was the heart and soul of her family, and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In the community, she was known as Coach Sandy, and she made an unforgettable impact on the parents and children whom she created a safe and fun environment for at Riverview Park.
