Galando, Samuel, Jr., 87, of Valrico, passed away on February 11, 2016. Samuel proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. He was an accomplished musician, an avid bowler, and enjoyed taking cruises with his wife. His sense of humor and love of fun will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Samuel is survived by his loving family, wife of 60 years, Agnes Galando; children, Robert (Petra) Hager, Gail (Gary) Lightner, Gregory (Brenda) Galando, Gwen (Robert) Shepherd, and Josephine (Tom) Nichols; sister, MaryEtta Bertolino; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be held in PA at a later date.
