Ruth Pauline Olson, known to most as Paula, passed away in Valrico, FL (where she resided for one year) on June 20, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born in Florida. She married Harry (who passed away in 2017) when she was 15. They were married 74 years. She still referred to him as her boyfriend. She truly loved Daddy and her family. For many years home was Hialeah, Florida, then for approximately 30 years the Port St. Lucie, Florida area. Prior to her decline, Mom loved studying the Bible and helping others learn the things she had learned. Even with her decline she enjoyed being at the Kingdom Hall for her meetings to learn and visit. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Olson; grandchild David Giles; and siblings Leonard, Lucille, Royal, and Jewell. Ruth is survived by her loving family, son, Alan (Francesca) Olson; daughter, Gail (Carl) Giles; grandchildren, Stephen, Kevin, and Micah; and great-grandchildren, Katrina, Kenzie, Kamden, Kristopher, and Harper as well as dear nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Her memorial will be Saturday July 21, 2018 at 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, address is 3809 John Moore Road, Brandon, FL  33511.
