Lorton, Ruth, Elfie Dodson, 91, of Tampa went to be with the Lord February 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wise Lorton; Son, Carl HenryLorton; Brothers, Henry Dodson, Archer "Red" Dodson, and sister, Dorris Ada Baker. Ruth is survived by her loving son, George Harvey Lorton; Grandchildren, Mary Beth Lorton, Carla Lynn Lorton, John Carl Lorton, Diedra (Dee) Lorton, and Heather Lorton; Great-Grandchildren, Allison Marie Krueger, Steven Seifert, Conrad Hunter, Justin Lorton, April Lorton, Jordan Campbell, Luc Ciccarello, Sarah Ciccarello, and Dylan Parker; Brother, Harvey Dodson; Sisters, Hilda Massey, Clarice Toth, and Rachael Meeks. A Funeral Service to honor her life will be conducted 12:30pm, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Tampa First Church of God.
