Ruth Parsons Calandro, of Brandon, FL passed away on December 13, 2024. Ruth was born and raised in Waverly, Virginia to Helen and James Parsons on August 18, 1947. Ruth spent her life working hard and caring for others. From a young age, Ruth helped raise her siblings before starting a family of her own with her husband, Raymond Calandro. Throughout her 48 years of marriage to Ray, Ruth raised three sons who were her greatest joy in life, Christopher Calandro, Matthew Calandro, and Andrew Calandro. Ruth taught her sons the value of hard work, as she often had multiple jobs while also taking care of the household. Ruth will also be missed and celebrated by her daughters-in-law, Sabrina, Allyson, and Laura, and grandchildren, Jackson, Evan, Karina, Scarlett, and Beau. Ruth will also be remembered by her lifelong friends who stayed by her until the end. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Riverview, Florida on January 24, 2025 at 11:00AM where she will be remembered alongside Ray.
