HINTON, Rufus Willie, 53 of Brandon Passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Rufus was born in Dayton, OH, and moved to the Brandon area 16 years ago from St. Louis. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon. He is survived by: his loving wife of 28 years, Yvette Christine; son, Jason Darnell Hinton; daughters, Jacqueline Marie Hinton and Juanita Y. Barker; mother, Willie Mae Hinton; brother, Michael W. Hinton (Glenda); nephews, Justin and Marc; nieces, Jessica and Jennifer; 2 grandchildren, Darius Jay Barker and Breana Renee Barker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Brandon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, April 21, 2008 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview.
