Ruby Mae Swails passed away peacefully on June 15th 2024 at Lake Wales Advent Health Vitas Hospice Care. Surrounded by family at the age of 91.

Ruby is survived by her Husband of 49 years Loyd W. Swails. Children; Diana (Roy) McFarland, Cynthia Danielo, Rickey (Mary) Baxley, Loyd Swails Jr. and Sister Mary Laverne Herndon.  She is preceded in death by her Father John Raymond Purvis,  Mother Bessie Mae Purvis, Sons Donnie Baxley, and Lonnie Swails, Grandson-Lonnie Swails Jr. 16 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.

Ruby was born on October 4, 1932, in Neponset, Kentucky. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, And Great Grandmother.

Ruby was a dedicated member of Clair Mel Assembly Of God Church for many years. She had many friends, and loved ones. She loved baking, sewing, decorating, singing, and playing piano. Her favorite thing was being around family and friends. She will be truly missed by all.
