Roy Lee Wright passed away on Thursday, Nov 24th. He joins his high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Eva May. He is survived by many friends and family, including his three daughters Lynn, Kathryn and Julie, two granddaughters Megan and Elizabeth, great-granddaughter Brooke, sister Joyce Moore, brother-in-law Jim Yates and their families, nieces and nephews Artie, Steve, Teri, Joe, Lisa and Heather.

Roy was born in Floyd County, Virginia in 1934 and lived in Roanoke until he attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Roy served in the Army at Ft. Sill, OK. He was an architectural engineer and worked in construction for over 50 years as a professional engineer with projects that garnered many awards throughout the south.

Roy was well-respected professionally and loved for his gentleness, patience and intelligence. We will miss him dearly.
