Roxana Wooden Conklin passed away December 18, 2025. She was born in Pulaski Michigan, Jackson County on March 9, 1934 to the late Elizabeth and Richard Wooden. She graduated from Hanover Horton High School, Michigan. Roxana was married to James R Conklin for 52 years before his passing in 2007.

A mother to 5 children, Sheryl (Vince) Sallimo, David (Myrna) Conklin, Patricia (Jerry) Lemanski, Merri Cox, Susan Conklin, grandmother to 11 grandchildren, and GG to 23 great grandchildren.

Roxie enjoyed needle pointing, canning, sewing her children's clothes and Halloween costumes for grandchildren, playing cards, and was an avid reader. Roxie also had a sweet tooth and loved her sweets no matter if it was pies, chocolates or baked desserts. She enjoyed traveling to see new sights, but her favorite place was back to her childhood home of Michigan. She loved to visit family and old friends on those trips and enjoyed the beauty of the area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Conklin and daughter Patricia Lemanski.

A celebration of life will take place in March 2026 on what would have been her 92nd Birthday.
