Roswitha Maria Kronewitter, 80, of Valrico Florida, passed away on April 5, 2021.  She was born in Schmidmuhlen, Germany on October 22, 1940 to the proud parents Georg and Theresia Schmidschneider.

Roswitha moved to the United States as a military wife to William Porter in 1964.  Roswitha worked at Brandon Regional Hospital from the opening of the hospital in 1977 until she retired 2007.  She loved to garden, and loved flowers, especially roses.  She loved her family.

Roswitha is survived by her five children, Elisabeth and husband Hans Franz of Germany; Susanna and husband John Wentzel of Riverview, Florida; William and wife Cristy Porter of Miami, Florida; Christina Sylvestre of Atlanta, Georgia and Linda and husband Sam Marino of Ocala, Florida.  She was a grandmother (Oma) to Andrea and Ronald Franz, Bernadette and Rosalinda Wentzel, Dana and Kyle Sylvestre, Anthony and Michael Marino, Amanda and  Anthony Martinez , and Alexander and Angelin Porter.  She was also a great grandmother to Alexis, Sophia, Alayna, Isabella, Anthony Jr., Jacob and Anton.  She is also survived by her brother Manfred Schmidschneider of Germany.  She was preceded in death by her brother Georg Schmidschneider.
