Roseminde Dumaine Bissainthe passed away on May 20 th , 2022 at Raydiant Health Care of Brandon. "Tante Doudoune" was born on August 15, 1918, in Camp Guillaume, Au Borgne. She was the daughter of Ducosse Bissainthe and Maria Grac é us. She is preceded in death by her beloved St. Germain Th é lus with whom she bore 13 children with only four surviving into adulthood, including the late Leconte Th é lus.

Tante Doudoune left Au Borgne in 1987 and ém igrated to the historic city of Cap- Ha ï tien to live with her eldest son and his family. She joined the rest of her children in Florida in 2000. Tante Doudoune was an avid cook, a wonderful storyteller, and a tireless worker. She enjoyed going to church, singing, dancing, gardening, cleaning, and spending quality time with her family. Her charming and generous spirit, wonderful sense of humor and endless encouragements will be missed.

She is survived by her 3 loving children: Lucie Th é lus, L é onie Fleurant, and Michel Th é lus , countless grandchildren , and many great-grandchildren .
