Rosemarie Martinson Presbrey, 88, of Coral Gables, Florida, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, January 6th .

She is survived by her daughters, Marion Shaw Presbrey Gilliam of Valrico, Fla, Loren Presbrey McMahon(Steve) of Tappahannock, VA, Christina Spaulding Presbrey of Burlington, NC, (the son she never had) Richard Scott Land of Coral Gables, Florida, two step children, May Presbrey Dahl(Ed) of The Villages, Florida and Herbert Charles Presbrey of Ventura, California. Her grandchildren, Nicolas and Sarah Gilliam, Rachael and Heather McMahon and Austin, Forrest, Max Coleman and Linkin Rayle. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles Shaw Presbrey, her grandson Hayden Charles Gilliam and her 3 sisters Joan, Kathleen and Ursula.

Rosemarie was an extraordinary lady. She loved to travel to many places which include visiting her friend in Jamaica, her friends and relatives in England and traveling to Paris with her best friend Virginia. She also loved antique shows, museums, jewelry, shoes and her beloved many dogs and cats she had owned.

But her all time favorite was FASHION. After high school, Rosemarie indulged herself into fashion. She went to the Eileen Ford Modeling School and before long she was working with Vogue Magazine. After many years she then became a designer.

She loved spending time with her three daughters and her nine grandchildren.
