R. Frank Russo 69 of Tampa, FL passed away May 31, 2025. He was born @ Trelles Clinic in Ybor City, February 6, 1956, to Frank and Elizabeth Violet Russo.  Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved Aunt Rosalie Diecidue and his brother-in-law Pat Skidmore. Frank owned and operated HomeTown Newsstand and Palma Ceia News in Tampa. In his next chapter he worked at Bern's Steakhouse for 14 years - his perfect niche.  He truly loved working for Bern's Steakhouse (The Laxers) as a most dedicated, loyal Maitre D' and dining room manager.  He appreciated and loved so many friends at Berns, the newsstands, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office, the City of Tampa Government and Hillsborough County.  Frank will be remembered for the love of his family, his kindness, his sense of humor, generosity, loyalty to his family and friends and his impeccable style.  He is survived by his sister Rosaree (Saree) Skidmore, nephews Patrick (Carolyn) and Andrew (Kendra) and many loving cousins and friends.

There will be a visitation held for Frank on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home (6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578) with a service starting at 5:30 pm. There will be a brief visitation held on Tuesday, June 17 from 9:45 AM - 10:15 AM at
Serenity Meadows Funeral Home and a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens (11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592).
