Rosalind (Roz) Charmaine Robinson-Freeman

12 June 1942 - 20 April 2019

Rosalind Freeman, received her angel wings on April 20, 2019.  She was born June 12, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to the proud parents of Jesse Richardson and LaVerne Stewart.  Roz attended National Louis University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

She was a dedicated Federal Civil Service Employee working in the Social Security Administration for 40 years.  Roz was an avid book reader, Bridge player, and loved to travel the world.  She resided in the Chicagoland area for many years before retiring to the Tampa Bay area.  Roz was a devoted mother & caretaker; she spent her entire life devoted to caring for others.  She said, "Love your children with all the love that is in you."

Roz is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Desiree Lyles; her son, Thomas Freeman; her son-in-law David C. Lyles; grandchildren David A. and Devin Lyles; her mother LaVerne Stewart; and step-children Yolanda, Lillian, Douglas Robinson II, & Toya Graham; and many cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday April 29, 2019 at Rivers of Life Church Ministries at 301 Lakewood Dr, Brandon, FL 33510 with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services from 10:00 to 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Riverview, FL.
