Rosa was married 65 years to Guillermo Ramirez and lived in Florida most of her life. Lived in Riverview when she passed away.

She had one daughter and her family;  Laurie Harrison, her husband James Harrison, daughters Alyx (20 yo) and Toni Rose(tribute to Rosa)(15 yo)
She had one son and his family;   Guillermo Ramirez, daughter Josie Ramirez (28) and josie's daughter Selena Ramirez (5)

She was a migrant worker and with her husband, managed to make it better for herself by becoming a medical assistant. She retired as a medical assistant to take care of youngest granddaughter Toni -

Rosa loved her Dallas Cowboys, and loved to brag about them.  She really enjoyed being a grandmother.  They were her reason for everything.  She bragged about Josie becoming a medical assistant, and Alyx going to college and Toni doing everything she wasn't expected to do ( she has special needs and was not given great quality of life..... mom helped with Toni appts and therapy, she is proud that she participated in dance and special Olympics winning medals)

She was stubborn, feisty, funny, caring, and silly. She enjoyed going on vacations with Laurie and her family to Disney.  She loved being in the pool with the girls.  Towards the end she became isolated due to health issues, but still welcomed her granddaughters and great granddaughter with hugs and kisses. She made funny jokes, she always took her camcorder and camera  - she wanted to document everything, even when it wasn't important, like granddaughter Josie checking the mail.  Cooking wasn't her specialty, she managed to explode a hard boiled egg in the microwave.
