Ronald Allan Zabel, 57, of Riverview, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Born in Chicago, IL. Mr. Zabel was a local resident since 1966. A crane operator engineer, Mr. Zabel enjoyed boating, fishing, photography, guitar, music competitive target shooting, magic, motorcycle travel, and computers. He is a veteran of he U.S. Navy. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Susan, daughters; Candace May Lijedahl, Nina Brieann Zona Zabel, brother; Gary W. Zabel, sister; Barbara Ann Carey 18 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law and his two grandsons; Nathen and Evan. His sister Maryann Conklin preceded him in death. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediatley follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
