BUTLER, Roger P., 77 of Riverview, went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 2, 2013. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Emily; Daughter, Lyrae (Rick) McFarland; brother David Butler of Georgia; and grandchildren, Kinsey Sosa, Clay, Cole, Kylie McFarland. He retired after 37 years with Cargill. Roger was a loving husband and father, who dedicated his life as a Deacon and Elder of 1st Baptist Church of Riverview. A funeral service to honor his life will take place 11:00am, Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before services. Flowers are welcomed, but those wishing may make donations to Moffitt Cancer Center or LifePath Hospice.
