Robin Brett Roberts, 51, of Brandon, Florida passed away suddenly on May 27, 2018. Robin is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Leanne, and his adored pets, Gabby, Penelope and Jet; parents, Windell and Doris Roberts; sister, Wendi Gregg (Robin); niece, Betsi Malone; great-nephews, Brett and Bryce Freeman; father and mother in law, Ron and Charlotte Ennis; brother in law, Steve Ennis (Georgina); sister in law, Sherri Deamond (Wade); niece and nephew in law, Amelia and Magnus Deamond; many uncles, aunts and cousins; and countless friends and co-workers.

Robin was born and raised in Charleston, SC and later lived in Charlotte, NC before moving to his current home in Brandon, FL in 2005.  He graduated from Pettit School of Radiologic Technology in Charleston, SC in 1994.  He worked as a Radiologic Technologist in Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC before becoming an Electrophysiology Technologist in 1997.  Robin enjoyed a distinguished career as a Clinical Specialist with CryoCath Technologies and later with Medtronic in their Atrial Fibrillation division, twice receiving their award for National Clinical Specialist of the Year.  He was very passionate about his job and enjoyed helping patients with heart rhythm disorders and teaching others about them.  He truly loved going to work each day.

Robin was a devoted follower of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  A lover of water and wind, he had a special passion for sailing and competitive sailboat racing, a hobby he shared with his wife, Leanne.  He also enjoyed photography, music, and traveling, had a keen admiration for watches and cars, a love of animals, and was immensely patriotic with a passion for political debate.  Robin was full of joy and laughter.  With a quick wit and an enormous sense of humor, he always knew how to make someone smile.  He was the light in the room at every gathering.  Robin was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed by any and all who were so blessed to have known him.

There will be a Celebration of Robin's Life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, with a memorial service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
