Pettigrew, Robert, 87, of Valrico, passed away on August 5, 2016. Robert proudly served in the US Army. He retired from the Hillsborough County School Board where he worked as an architect and the director of planning and construction. He is preceded in death by his wife Ramona Pettigrew. Robert is survived by his loving family, daughters, Karen Stern, Kecia (Stuart) Sherman; and Katrece (William) Howard; and grandchildren Ryan Rey, Jessica Stern, Seth Howard, Nathan Howard, and Lydia Howard. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior.
