FOSTER, Robert Lester, MSgt (ret), 82, of Brandon, Florida, passed away September 29, 2014. Robert was born in Carbon Hill, AL, to Robert and Ida Foster. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country proudly for 26 years. Robert married the love of his life, Mariko Sakamoto, in Nagoya, Japan. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, three daughters, Shirley Taylor (Bruce), Mary Taylor, and Brenda Bebe' Daly (Patrick), and four grandchildren, Morgan and Ashton Taylor, Brody Ziegler, and Jade Daly. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Chambliss and Margaret MacDonald and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services with military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 4:00 pm, at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at the Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, October 6, 2014, at 10:30 am.
