Robert Lloyd "Bobby" Howard, 53, of Ruskin, passed away on June 24, 2023, after succumbing to injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. Bobby was a 16 year Army veteran, before becoming a successful deputy for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for 17 years. Bobby held numerous positions in the Sheriff's Office, including being a on the HCSO Motor Unit for approximately 10 years.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Howard, mother, Carol D. Howard, and brother, Thomas Samuel Howard.

Bobby is survived by his only son, Robert Lloyd "Bo" Howard II, brothers Bill(Bonnie) Howard, Scott(Beth) Howard, girlfriend Kacey Folger(Ethan, Evan), and his nieces and nephews.

Bobby's funeral will be held at Idlewild Baptist Church, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., and the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers,
