Ethridge, Robert Reed, 60, of Brandon, passed away on February 3, 2017. Robert was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from the US Army as a First Sergeant and went on to work for 19 years at Central Command at MacDill, where he was greatly admired. He was an avid Alabama fan, loved watching NASCAR, and was an Atlanta Falcons fan. Robert is survived by his loving family, wife of 34 years, Jane Ethridge; children, Stephanie Ethridge, April Ethridge, and Jonathan Ethridge; sister, Nancy (Jerry) Mims; brother, James Daniel (Connie) Ethridge; and grandchildren, Jazmyn, Haylee, and Tamara. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org
