Obituary

Bob Clark died peacefully at home following a hard fought battle with Mesothelioma for the past two years. He was born in Gloversville, NY to Duane and Madeline Clark. and was a 1965 graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in mechanical engineering. His career included power plant engineering, as well as extensive time in Poland, Switzerland, and Portugal overseeing projects for Tampa Electric. Bob was a golf enthusiast, most recently at Buckhorn Golf Club, and he was also a member and supporter of Amvets Post 44. For the past ten years he and his wife became involved with Southeastern Guide Dogs, raising eight pups for guide dog careers. Bob is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Karin McKenna, her husband Dennis, and their two children, Trey and Laurel, all of whom live in Ohio. Also surviving Bob is son Benjamin Clark, his wife Jennifer, and their two daughters Madeline and Emily, all living in the Chicago area. Bob's only sibling is his sister Lenora, who lives in California. A Celebration of Life will be held in the upcoming months. The family expresses their thanks to Moffitt Cancer Center, and Dr Antonio DaSilva, Advent Health, Orlando.
