Robert "Bobby" Register, 68, of Riverview, passed away on April 6, 2013. He worked at Dupont in NC and transferred to Waynesboro Virginia, working for them a total of 30 years; after his retirement he started a vending business and delivered booklets for Dealer Lot II where he was known as "The Book Man". He moved to Tampa, FL with his wife 2 1/2 years ago where he enjoyed working at Tampa General Hospital as a transporter and especially enjoyed transporting the children in their red wagons. He was a member of the Brandon Moose Lodge, Valrico Eagles and the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his son, Robbie Register (Tracy); step-sons, Robert Knott, Jr, Kevin Knott, Corey Hunt; step-daughter, Brandi Irwin (Matt); brothers, Jimmy (Jeannie), Patrick (Jane), Dale (Patricia) and Ricky; and 5 grandchildren. There will be a celebration of Bobby's life on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, the family will greet guests one hour prior.
