DeVolld, Robert Bradley "Bob" of Brandon, FL, passed peacefully on October 14, 2016 from stroke complications. Born to Donald and Virginia DeVolld of Zanesville, Ohio on July 12, 1945, he was a graduate of Zanesville High School and, following his service in the Army, received his Bachelors in Business from Franklin University in Columbus, OH. He was a Jaycee and owner of the DeVolld Insurance Agency in Zanesville until 1982, when his family moved to Brandon, Florida, where he worked as West Coast District Manager for The Travelers Insurance. Bob was actively involved in the Brandon Community, serving on the board of ECHO and a past President of the Brandon '86 Rotary Club, where he co-chaired the committee for the Rotary All Persons Playground, his proudest accomplishment. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gail; son Troy DeVolld of Los Angeles; daughter Melissa (Josh) Hughes of Ruskin, FL; and two grandchildren, Lindsey and Joel; sister Judy (Dave) Ross of Zanesville, OH, as well as 7 nieces and nephews and several other family members. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7pm.
