Robert C. Berg, 62, of Gibsonton, FL, earned his wings on November 14, 2016 with his loving family by his side. As a young man, he moved from Virginia to Florida, met and married the love of his life for over 36 years, Vickie, helped raise their 3 children, all while building their family business in home renovations. He touched so many lives in so many ways. He was a well-respected business man in the community through his honesty, heart of gold, knowledge and passion for his work. He showed great strength and courage, smiling and fighting all the way until the end. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; his children, Ashley(Jonathan), Amber(Derek), Robert II(Amanda); his grandchildren, Jonathan Jr, Arianna, Dalen, Davin, Aveya and Robert III; his 9 siblings, Ellen, Patricia, Edward III, Deborah, Barbara, Thomas, Mark, Erik and James; and a large, loving, devoted family and circle of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward II; his mother, Patricia; and his granddaughter, Alaura. The family will receive friends, 11:30-1:30pm, Friday, November 18, at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, FL, followed by funeral mass at 2pm, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 6819 Krycul Ave, Riverview, FL, and Celebration of Life, 4-7pm at the Barn @ Winthrop, 11349 Bloomingdale Ave, Riverview FL.
