Robert G. Burkett "Bobby Bee" will be remembered as the best husband, father, "PaPa" and friend to many.   He and his wife, Judy George Burkett, were married for 42-1/2 years.   He is also survived by his son, James R. Burkett, and his grandchildren Meisje B. Burkett and USAF SSgt Austin G. Burkett – all of San Antonio, Texas.  He was a very proud "PaPa" and loved his son and grandchildren very much.    He made many lifelong friends from working at National Airlines and Pan American World Airways and his "Helfrick Cousins" were all very close to him.   He served his country in the US Navy and was always very proud to talk about his Navy days.  Bob fought a hard fight with recent health issues but in the end he left this world peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father, his Mom, Dad, Sister and many more loving family members waiting to greet him. Due to current COVID risks, the family will honor Bob with a Celebration of Life in the coming months.
