Barnwell, Robert Eugene, 83 of Tampa, FL, received his angel wings and went to heaven on April 13, 2020.  He was a butcher by trade and served in the Army National Guard. He was a loving husband to wife of 39 years, Janis and father to Theresa Barnwell, Shari (Mercedes) Barnwell and Richard (Malissa) McNeely. He was a wonderful grandfather to Ryan Gordon, Christopher Dick, Ian McNeely, Alan McNeely, Molly McNeely and great grandchildren Aaliyah Blocker, Jessi Gordon, Makinlee Singletary, Isabella McNeely and Julian McNeely.

His surviving siblings are Larry and James Barnwell, Stella Giles, Sandra (Ronnie) Sanderfur, and Shirley (Johnny) Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sherry Barnwell, his parents, Ruby Hart and G. T. Barnwell Jr. and brothers Roland and Richard Barnwell.
