Browning, Robbie Barkett, "Rob", 41, of Brandon, FL, passed away September 4, 2010. He was born January 7, 1969 in Coral Gables, FL. Rob graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes High School in 1987. He graduated from FMU in 2003 with an associates degree. He worked as a supervisor in the blow-molding department of Amalie Oil Company in Tampa. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, Shanna, he loved her with all of his heart & they both were true soul mates. He enjoyed the company of family & friends. He loved to ride his motorcycle & have fun in life. Rob always knew how to enjoy himself no matter where he was or whom he was with. He was a very outgoing person & always made friends wherever he went. Rob was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl & Alma Browning; grandfather, Harry Barkett, Sr.; aunt, Lynne Ellen Barkett; and cousin, Harry Barkett, III. He is survived by his loving wife, Shanna & their dog, Tater; mother, Betty Jean Browning; father, Ed Browning (Sandy); brothers, Bruce Browning (Donya), Scott Browning (Tish), and Dwayne Browning (Abby); maternal grandmother, Betty Barkett; 3 nieces & 4 nephews; and a very large extended family. He will be greatly missed by his motorcycle friends, the drag racing community, and all of the people who loved him dearly. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00am at Fellowship Baptist Church, 13515 US Hwy 301 North, Thonotosassa, FL, 33592, with a gathering one hour prior. There will be a "Celebration of Life" gathering following the memorial service at Barnacles (in the banquet room) 1:00pm-5:00pm, 926 Providence Road, Brandon, FL 33510. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at www.komen.org.
