Jacques, Rita A., 86, formerly of La Casa, passed away on February 7, 2009. Rita was born on July 21, 1922 in Pawtucket, RI. She moved to North Port 25 years ago from Rhode Island, where she worked as a loan officer in a bank. She was a member of the San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port and volunteered many hours to the St. Vincent de Paul of the San Pedro Parish. Rita is survived by her loving family, sons, Norman H. Jacques, Jr., Dr. Donald F. Jacques and Richard A. Jacques; daughter, Susan (Jack) Kroll; sister, Doris D. Bonneau; and 11 grandchildren. There will be a memorial mass on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL.
