Richard Raley, 78, of Riverview, FL went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2012. He was born on August 21, 1933 in Central City, KY, son of the late Charles and Alma Raley. He served in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. He was a salesman and entrepreneur owning five pet shops in Pennsylvania. He moved to Florida, where he owned and operated a tropical fish farm in Riverview. He taught for three years at Brewster Technical Center in Tampa. He loved collecting many things and above all he was a servant of God. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Beverly; daughters, Rolinda (JD) Smoak and Robin (Mallon) Moye; step-daughter, Lori (David) Smart; step-son, Ray Spickelmier; sister, Laquita Pacillo; brothers, Jeffrey (Lana) Raley and Greg (Angie) Raley; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
