Parker, Sr., Richard Morgan, 86, of Port Richey, FL, passed away in Tampa, FL on November 23, 2012. He was born on March 28, 1926 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late David Cason and Stella Mae (Wright) Parker. He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Ruth (Swain) Parker. Richard is a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in WWII. Along with his wife, Richard is survived by a son, Richard Morgan Parker, Jr., two daughters; Christol (Parker) Baldus, Bonnie (Parker) Andrews, a sister Ann (Parker) Moran, two brothers and their spouses; Betty & David Cason Parker, Jr., and Joanne & William Harry Parker, sister in law, Ruby Parker, and sister in law, Alleine Swain, four grandchildren; Nelson A. (Buddy) Whittaker, Jennifer Diane Whittaker, Susan Elizabeth Lucas, and Catherine Elizabeth Moon, three great granddaughters; Cali, Olivia, and Hayll, and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Mae Parker, and a brother, Kenneth Leet Parker Sr. A memorial service will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Thursday, December 13th, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Following the military ceremony, a reception for family and friends will be held at the Hampton Inn, 30301 Cortez Blvd. Brooksville, FL 34602.
