Richard E. Ferres, 52, of Riverview passed away on August 8, 2022, during cancer treatment at Tampa General Hospital. He is survived by two sons Ronald J. Mulligan (R.J.), and Brendan Ferres, his daughter Arianna Ferres and his mother Lynette Rigsby, his brother Ronald E. Ferres and sisters; Vicki Tennant, Naniska Mielke and Terronya Ferres. He is preceded in death by his father Ronald E. Ferres, Sr. Richard graduated class of 87 from East Bay High School and joined the Naval Reserves. He worked several years in fiberglass repair on boats for Bass Tracker and Wellcraft while in the Reserves. He began nursing school while working as a Telemetry Technician for the University Community Hospital. He was a commercial fisherman in the tropical fish industry having his own business for many years.
