Faehse, Richard W., a native of Fort Dix, New Jersey and resident of Brandon, FL, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from complications from cancer. He was 57. Visitation will be at Serenity Meadows on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 5:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Florida national Cemetery on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Richard is survived by his wife, Sonja Faehse; sons, Michael and wife Kristina Faehse, and Ian Faehse; daughter, Anja Faehse; brother, John Faehse; sisters, Renata F. LeBoeuf and Elizabeth F. Adams; grandson, Tristan Faehse; sister-in-law and husband, Roswitha and Arthur Schwinnen; sister-in-law, Marie-Luise Hubo-Dorsey; father-in-law, Fritz Hubo; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Giovanna Lusnig Faehse. He was a retired Major from the United States Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
