Richard Donald Williams, 79, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was defined by love, strength, and dedication to his family.

A proud graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy and Auburn University, Richard built a respected career before returning to Florida, where he spent nearly 50 years building a life surrounded by family and friends. His greatest joys were his family and sharing his love of cooking with those he loved.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie; his brother, Michael; his six children - Heath Moses (Nina), Heather Williams Bay (Kerry), Hunter Williams (Leann), Melissa Murray (Dean), Hope Albright (Chris), and Brandon Williams (Monica); 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his sincerity, strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family.

Richard's dream was to gather Debbie and all his children around one table to share a meal together. Though he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, reunited with loved ones, at the family table he always dreamed of.
