IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Paul
Cole
August 29, 1967 – March 23, 2025
Richard Paul Cole (1967–2025)
Richard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1967 to Richard Edward and Betty Cole. He attended Port Washington High school and worked his way up to terminal manager for Cemex construction in Tampa, Florida.
Richard met the love of his life, Robyn, in 1993 at their church. Their union was one chosen by God and they happily spent 31 years together. Richard and Robyn couldn't wait to start a family of their own, and their children meant the world to them. Together they raised four children, two boys and two girls. In 1996 Richard and Robyn moved to Florida to help build a church and serve the Lord in the ministry at Lamb of God Christian Center in Tampa. Together they served and supported the Fueling Faith Food Pantry, Bridges of Hope, Homeless Outreaches, The Children's Home of Hope in India, and the Prayer Team. Richard received his minister's license in 2016 and gave beautiful Bible Studies that can still be heard on YouTube.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Edward Cole and is survived by his wife, Robyn, step-son, Spencer (Jaime, Wyatt, and Taylor) Schlessinger, Sara (Ariel) Duarte, Melissa Cole, and Richard Adam Cole. Also by his mother Betty Cole, brother Jeff (Erika) Cole, Nieces Emily and Julia Cole. Richard was extremely excited about his first grand daughter, Amelia Rose Duarte, also known as "Grandpa's Little Princess". He will now be watching her and loving her from his home in Heaven. Richard also loved spoiling his two beautiful Rottweilers, Jasper and Kylo. He enjoyed spending time with his loyal, loving boys, and they loved spending time with him.
Richard was a very dedicated Manager at Cemex, a construction supply company. He worked at the Port Sutton terminal in Tampa, Fl for 29 years. Throughout those years, he made many lasting relationships and excelled at his job through his integrity and hard work. Richard loved this Country, the Constitution and guns. He enjoyed fishing and going to the gun range with his family. Everyone who knew him knew he showed his love through food and he shared his love of cooking with his family and friends.
Richard will always be remembered for his love of God, his love and faithfulness to his wife and family, and the support he gave to our church. He was an amazing father and friend. He was a hard worker and would do anything to help anyone in need. He will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Richard Saturday April 5th at Lamb of God Christian Center from 12 to 4 PM, with services at 2 PM.
