Banals, Rene, 78, of Brandon, native of Chicago and having lived in Cincinnati and St. Louis, passed away on February 4, 2014. She was a secretary for the Hillsborough County Purchasing Department and after retiring, became a board member for the H2U Senior Club and enjoyed a lively game of Bunco. She is survived by her loving family, husband of 59 years, Arnold; daughter, Laurial (Haider); and grandchildren, Farah, Tammy and Ambreen. There will be a visitation on Friday, February 7, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a service at 3:00 pm.
