Regina (Margarita) Rivera, 83, was received in heaven on February 5th, 2020.  She was born in September 1936, in Puerto Rico to Zoilo Alamo and Antonia Delgado.  She had 2 brothers and 7 sisters. She came to the U.S. at the age of 20 and married Miguel Rivera in August 1958 and settled in Lorain.  She was a homemaker while her husband was a Steel Worker. Upon retirement, they moved to Caguas, PR with their 2 children and lived there for 12 years. They moved back to Lorain in 1989. Upon her husband's passing in 2007, she moved to Florida to live with her son for 12 years.  Her interests included family, gardening, sewing, and beading. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was loved by her family, friends, and the members of Templo Bethel in Lorain, OH and Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Fl.  She is survived by her sisters, Victoria and Digna; brother, William; her son and his spouse, Mike and Miriam Rivera; and 4 grandchildren, Kristen, Audrey, Michael and Charlene, and 1 great-grandchild, Sayah.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Maria, Faustina, Candida, Eulalia and Filomena; brother, Felix; her husband Miguel Rivera and daughter, Esther Rivera.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday February 13th at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, FL. with family receiving friends from 9:00 to 11:00 am prior to services.  Burial will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, Ohio.
