Raymond J. Scavo, 84, of Gibsonton, Florida was born October 23, 1937 in New York, New York to John Scavo and Lucy Sciusco. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years, which he was very passionate about. He worked for Hudson Blueprint and Academy Bus Company as well. He attended Brooklyn Automotive Trade School. He was also a member at Trinity Baptist church. Ray is survived by his beloved wife Irene Scavo, three sons: John Scavo (Antonette), James Read (Silvana) and, Ray Scavo Jr., three daughters: Lucy Ann Pinto, Michelle Stilo (John) and, Angela Scavo. Ray had three sisters Jennie Mackiewicz, Lucille Fiore (Louie) and, Camille Donnelly (Harry). He leaves behind fourteen grandchildren: John Michael Scavo Jr., Victoria Scavo, Nicole Scavo, Raymond Scavo III, Michael Pinto, Lauren Gubitosi, Peter Pinto Jr., Christina Kosowski, Brianna Rodriguez, Jessica Read, Stephanie Haddad, Angelia Stilo, Danny Pincay and, Valerie Pincay, and four great grandchildren as well.
