Raymond John Calandro, of Brandon, FL passed away on October 12, 2024. Raymond, known by all as Ray, was born to Florence and August Calandro on August 20, 1948. Ray spread joy by always leading with his sense of humor. He lived his life seeking fulfillment by meeting people and helping others. Ray often found himself thrust into positions of leadership, whether it be through church, volunteer work, or business. Ray was married for 48 years to his loving wife, Ruth Calandro, who passed away shortly after him. Ray gave all his best traits to his three sons, Christopher Calandro, Matthew Calandro, and Andrew Calandro, all of whom he was very proud. Ray also leaves behind his daughters-in-law, Sabrina, Allyson, and Laura, and grandchildren, Jackson, Evan, Karina, Scarlett, and Beau. Ray will be remembered by family in Michigan, as well as all the friends he made along the way. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Riverview, Florida on January 24, 2025 at 11:00AM where he will be remembered alongside Ruth.
