Ramona Nieves Otero, our beloved "Mother", passed away to rest in peace with God this past February 14, 2010 at the age of 85 due to natural caused in Tampa, FL. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Daughter of Gaspar Nieves and Perfecta Otero, Ramona was the mother of nine sons and daughters and survived by seven; Raquel, Ada, Elliot, Mario, Tomas, Maria Del Carmen and Adela. Ramona is now reunited with her already departed daughters Mildred and Aida. Ramona was also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a fighter, hard worker and a great example to what it means to persevere in life. The foundation to a big and strong family. Rest in peace our beloved "Mother" you will be missed.
