Pollock, Preston John, 13, of Lithia, passed away on May 12, 2008. Preston (a/k/a "PJ") had a passion for playing guitars and writing music with his band S.O.S. (Suspects of Sin). Preston had a great passion to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Preston shared his gifts and talents as a passionate young musician and songwriter with his friends.
Preston is survived by his loving family: mother, Dawn Pollock; brothers, Blake and Kirk; sisters, Courtney, Brooke and Hope; grandparents, Eva and Earl Sprinkle of Marion, NC and Dr. Loyd V. and Margaret Allen, Jr. of Edmond OK; and great grandparents, Loyd and Verna Allen, Sr. of Choctaw, OK and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Preston's life, along with his father's, Forrest Pollock, is scheduled for Saturday, May 17 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. A Fellowship Reception will follow. Preston will be laid to rest in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
