Cater, Preston E. Sr., 77, of Tampa passed away on October 11, 2013. Preston was born on July 29, 1936 in Tarpon Springs, Fl. to the late Bennet and Bertha (Edwards) Cater. Preston was a retired Master Sergeant Special Forces National Guard, where he spent 23 years. He also drove a semi for Sears for 39 years. He enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafting in his workshop after retirement. Preston was also preceded in death by a brother Arnold Cater. Preston is survived by his wife May Cater, step daughter Kris Buchanan, and other relatives. The family would like to thank Hospice, the Ruby team, especially; Sara, Eve, and Maria for the loving care they gave to Preston. He was loved and will be deeply missed by his family; sorrow is the price you pay for loving. Per his request there will be no services.
