Ball, Phyllis, F., 63, of Brandon passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011. Born in Matewan, West Virginia, she had been a local resident since 1967. Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family, cake decorating and sewing. She was just recently widowed with the passing of her loving husband of 43 years, Rodney, leaving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jackie (Allen) Morgan of Plant City, brothers, Raymond Fitch; Jessie (Paula) Fitch all of West Virginia, John (Linda) Fitch of Kentucky; sisters, Dorothy Sheffield; Mary Sands both of Florida as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Mrs. Ball was predeceased by her parents, Cecil James and Fonnie nee McCoy Fitch; brothers, Cecil Fitch, Jr.; Arnold Ray Fitch; Donnie Fitch, sisters, Hazel Harville and Rosetta Varney. The family will receive friends Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
