Philip C. Young was born in Syracuse, NY. He passed away on July 26,2022 in Sun City Center, FL.He and his wife previously lived in Western NY and retired to Riverview, FL. He was married to his loving wife, Cassandra for 45 years .He was an educator for twenty years. He graduated from Onondaga Community College with an AA, Curry College with a BA, and Syracuse University with a Master's Degree in Education. After retiring from teaching he worked in sales until moving to FL.His family knew him as Philip, Phil, PCY, Philly, and Charlie. His wife knew him as one of the good guys. He is survived by his older brother, John, sister Mary Anne, brother Gregory and sister-in -law Susan, and brother Peter and sister-in-law Alice Pat. Other family members include his sister-in-law Rosalie and brother -in-law David and his wife Rita.

Before his illness , he was an active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
