Philip Michael Jones passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in Riverview, FL.

He was born on December 7, 1958, in St. Petersburg, FL, to John and Myrna Jones.

Michael is survived by his wife Cheryl; children Ricky and Janie Simmons, Rusty and Sheila Wolfe, Craig Stewart, and Philip Jones; bonus daughters Katie Randall and Jaime Jones; his brother Kevin Jones; mother-in-law Lee Collis; as well as his multitude of grandchildren and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sons Christopher Stewart and John Michael Jones.

Throughout his life, Michael had a love for NASCAR, his 34-year career at Covanta (Reworld), and his family, especially his grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Serenity Meadows 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview FL 33578. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM, with services immediately following.
