Philip B. Combs' Obituary
Philip B. Combs Ph.D., of Riverview, passed away on June 26, 2015.
Philip proudly served in the US Air Force for 10 years. In 1959, he became a minister and continued to serve in the ministry for 48 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Gillian A. Combs. Philip is survived by his loving family, siblings, Dotty Slattery, Daniel Combs, and William "Hoppy" Hopkins; sons, Dale (Lisa) Combs, Dean (Jenn) Combs, David Combs, Darren (Joy) Combs, and Mike Combs; grandchildren, Dalisha Carter, Dale Combs, Benjamin Combs, Gillian Combs, Chase Combs, Brendan Horak, Haley Kirby, Philip Combs, David Combs, Nicholas Combs, Rachel Pappalardo, Brianna Combs, Macallagh Combs; and great-grandchildren, Micha Otera, Gabrien Otera, Philip Combs, and Ellanie Mae Combs.
A visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at River of Life Christian Center in Riverview. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at River of Life Christian Center.
