Peter P Zeban, 83, passed away peacefully at South Bay hospital on March 4th
Pete was born in Manville, N.J. on May 7 th , 1938 and moved to Florida in 1998. He graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1956 and was instrumental in keeping in touch with all his classmates and putting together most reunions, including the most recent 65 th . He was in the Army and was always a proud veteran. Pete was a graduate of Rutgers University where he majored in management and marketing. He worked for the State of NJ and retired early from the finance world as a comptroller in the oil and gas industry. Pete was a lover ofall sports. He was the founding President for ASA Umpires---Central Jersey District III of New Jersey in 1986 and held the office for 5 years. He enjoyed being a Limo driver. He was a member of the Rutgers Club of Tampa Bay for 17 years, also joining the Sarasota/Manatee Alumni Club for Rutgers University where he
served as past president. Pete wrote two books. "Secret Stories from Behind the Wheel" and "Guy Named Pete- A Crusader and Scarlet Night". He was always available to help with any volunteer work when needed. Pete was a lover of all people and never had an unkind word for anyone. He took great pleasure in organizing gatherings & bringing people together, that is what made him
happiest.
He is preceded in death by his parents Peter P. Sr and Ann Zeban, and his infant twins (at birth), Matthew and Timothy. Peter is survived by his loving wife Judy Zeban. His sister Lydia Colie; Sons Stephen P Zeban and wife Linda, James M Zeban and wife Beatriz; Stepsons Jeff Bramhall and wife Marina, Greg Bramhall, Dirk Bramhall; Grandchildren Melissa Hardy and husband Ricky, Sarah Herfield and husband Randy, Taylor, Katelyn, Gia and Kade Zeban. Great Grandchildren Emma, Liam, George and Mila.
