Pearl Isabel Thompson, 94, passed away on October 31, 2019 in Brandon, Florida. Like her twin sister Ruby Williams, Pearl was a teacher who taught in the New York school system for 33 years and was a former resident of Gamboa (former Canal Zone). A memorial service is planned for a future date. Among survivors are her daughter Jackie Cherrington; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-great granddaughter; several nephews and nieces (including Barbara Richards). She was preceded in death by her sisters Myrtle Thompson Welsh, and Ruby Williams; her brother Rudolph Thompson and parents Beresford and Hannah Thompson.
