Paulette Quigley, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and doting grandmother, passed away on June 10,2023 at 10:02 pm, peacefully. She courageously battled stage 4 bladder cancer for an extended period. Paulette, born to Josephine and David DeCabia, lived her life on her own terms, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Paulette's love story began when she married Thomas W. Quigley, with whom she shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they raised a wonderful family and created a lifetime of memories. Paulette's children, Tommy and his wife Lisa, and Carrie. She was a source of unconditional love, guidance, and support for each of them. She also had a special bond with her only sister, Linda DeCabia.
As a grandmother, Paulette found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren. Tyler, Cameron, Hunter, and great-grand baby Finley, Harley and Daniels addition to our family this past year, brought an unparalleled happiness to her life.
She raised both Harley Crosby and Noah Quigley until adulthood as her own with her husband Thomas. She played a significant role in their lives, providing unwavering love, support, and guidance as she helped raise them into adulthood. Paulette's bond with her grandchildren was incredibly strong, and they will forever carry her love in their hearts.
She was a source of unconditional love, guidance, and support for each of them. Paulette cherished their company and relished the role of a loving grandmother. Her love and wisdom will forever be engrained in their hearts.
Professionally, Paulette worked as an ACLF administrator, displaying her passion for helping others. She was an avid learner who stayed informed and knowledgeable about the world around her. Paulette's keen awareness and insightful perspective made her an invaluable asset to her family and friends.
Among her many passions, Paulette had a special fondness for animals, particularly monkeys. Her love for these creatures reflected her nurturing and compassionate nature. Paulette's family and friends will always remember her as the rock of their lives, providing strength, guidance, and love whenever needed.
In her leisure time, Paulette expressed her creativity through sewing and crafts. Her skilled hands produced beautiful creations that will be treasured by her loved ones as lasting mementos of her love and talent. Paulette also had a love for traveling, which allowed her to explore the world and experience new cultures. Her trip to Italy with her husband was one of her fondest memories traveling.
Paulette Quigley will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and unwavering commitment to family will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. While her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Paulette's life will be as a private ceremony at home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you love each other unconditionally going forward.
May Paulette Quigley rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love will continue to shine upon us all. She wants everyone to love themselves unconditionally. Just as a mother does her young.
